Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, has allayed fears that he could have been injured in a chopper crash on August 3.
This follows speculations that the chopper he was traveling in to Mitooma District crashed.
“My colleagues and I are all okay. No one is hurt”, he commented on his X handle.
Many people, politicians and friends have gone to his social media handle to wish him well and to thank God for the miracle of life.
The Deputy Speaker was last evening attending the Kuhingira of Ms. Edinah Ainomugisha and Mr. Albert Bagabe in Bushenyi District.
Edinah is the daughter of Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha, MD of the National Water (NWSC), and Hon. Annet Katusiime Mugisha, Woman MP for Bushenyi.
He was also seen in Nebbi District on the same day where he was attending the thanksgiving ceremony of junior energy minister Hon.Phiona Nyamutoro.
