In a grand gesture symbolizing honor, appreciation, and the value of servant leadership, Pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle Centre Cathedral was gifted a luxurious 2022 Maybach S560.
The high-end vehicle, renowned for its elegance, comfort, and exclusivity, was presented as a token of deep gratitude for his decades of selfless service, spiritual leadership, and impact on both Uganda and the international faith community.
The surprise gift has sparked conversation across the country, not just for its extravagance, but for the message it carries: that leaders who consistently uplift others, nurture communities, and inspire generations deserve to be celebrated in tangible ways.

Pastor Kayanja, widely respected for his pioneering role in Uganda’s Pentecostal movement, has been instrumental in mentoring youth, leading humanitarian campaigns, and uniting religious communities.
Supporters say the gift reflects the profound love and esteem the congregation and broader community hold for him.
“This is more than just a car; it’s a statement,” said one church elder. “When a leader gives his life to serve people, uplift the poor, and lead a nation in prayer, giving back is not just right — it’s honorable.”

The gesture has ignited discussions around the culture of appreciation in Uganda, especially for leaders whose legacy is marked by sacrifice and transformation.
As one congregant remarked, “Celebrating our leaders while they are still alive is the highest form of gratitude.”
Pastor Robert Kayanja was left speechless following the gesture from longtime church member Pastor Lubwama James.
“I just admired it in Holland… now it’s mine. God is good,” Pastor Kayanja said.
