Sadolin Uganda has launched its 10th Color Centre in the country, marking another milestone in its innovative approach to the paint retail market.
The new outlet, strategically located along the Kampala-Masaka highway in Maya, is part of the company’s broader plan to enhance accessibility and customer experience through its Color Centre model.
Sadolin Uganda’s Country Head, Ashish Devani, emphasized the company’s vision behind the initiative.

“In 2017, we thought, why not create a supermarket concept for paint? Today, paint purchasing is a family decision—everyone from the father, mother, and children is involved. We wanted to create a space where families could walk in and select the paint or brand they want with ease,” he explained.
The first Color Centre was launched in 2018, and the concept has since gained widespread success, with outlets now present in major towns including Jinja, Gulu, Soroti, Arua, Lira, Mbarara, Ntungamo, Kasese, and Fort Portal.

The new location at Maya is expected to further boost Sadolin’s reach and cater to the growing demand for quality paint products.
Local business partners are also optimistic about the impact of the Color Centre model. Nankya Rahma, CEO of Fortress Hardware, expressed confidence in the potential growth that the new outlet will bring.
“We expect to attract more customers and expand our market presence. Fortress Hardware will now be known far and wide along the western route of Kampala, and we anticipate increased profits,” she stated.
With Uganda experiencing rapid infrastructural development, Sadolin Uganda is positioning itself to meet the evolving demands of the market.

“So much development is happening across Uganda, and we want to introduce world-class products at reasonable costs. We have many things in the pipeline for the next 5-10 years,” Devani remarked, hinting at future expansions and innovations.
Sadolin Uganda’s continued investment in Color Centres underscores its commitment to enhancing customer experience while bringing high-quality, affordable paints closer to consumers.
As the company celebrates this latest milestone, its vision for a vibrant and accessible paint retail market remains stronger than ever.
